ANNA DUBERT THERAPY

Registered Counsellor MBACP

Meet Anna
527A7558.JPG

Hello. I'm Anna.

My name is Anna Dubert and I am a qualified and registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, NLP Therapist and Coach based in London.

I trained at the Gestalt Centre and Metanoia Institute in London and received a MSc in The Psychodynamics of Human Development from the Birkbeck University of London and an M.Phil from the University of Adam Mickiewicz.

I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching, as well as further training, and have studied with some of the best trainers in the world such as the co-founders of NLP, Dr John Grinder and Richard Bandler, as well as world-renowned Hypnotherapists Paul McKenna.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a Relational Therapist with the NHS (East London NHS Foundation Trust), specifically with individuals who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. My professional experience includes working as a Bereavement Counsellor at Royal Trinity Hospice and as a Therapist at SLCS Centre. Between January 2018 and October 2020, I served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Polish Association of Psychologists and as a coach, mentor and trainer for various Women’s Development Programmes.

Through understanding my own therapeutic journey, I have selected the most useful tools to assist you in the healing process. I use them to help you identify patterns in your life that are no longer serving you to live a complete and fulfilling life. I feel honoured to be able to bring these tools into your life now.

My Approach

My Approach

I have drawn much of the orientation and inspiration for my practice both from the Gestalt perspective and Transactional Analysis methodology, and also from Eastern thought. I am strongly influenced by the work of Carl Gustav Jung. I pay attention to the wider context including gender, sexual identity, race and cultural diversity.

I use creative and experiential techniques to help the client to explore the unconscious, which may include movement, image, drawing or acting, and talking methods: focusing on events, feelings, thinking patterns or behaviours.

My approach combines:

Gestalt Therapy

encourages us to pay attention to our moment to moment experiencing of ourselves, and focuses upon the therapist–client relationship.

Jungian Psychodynamic

revolves around the archetypes within the collective & personal unconscious and the acknowledgement of our spiritual presence.

Transactional Analysis

examines and helps individuals understand their patterns of behavior, communication, and relationships to facilitate personal growth and change.

Neuro Linguistic Programming

is a psychological approach that involves modelling; and relates thoughts, language, and patterns of behaviour.

Psycho-Coaching

it is a special combination of achievement-oriented work that is infused with therapeutic treatment.

Mindfulness & Kundalini Meditation

puts emphasis on breath, inward focus and mantra to develop awareness of the present moment and a stronger self-awareness.

What I Can Help With:

Like all BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of areas. My specialist capacity and range of subject experience is detailed below.

Special Interests:

Grief, Loss & Change

You may have suffered a recent bereavement, divorce, breakup, miscarriage, lost a pet, employment, or another kind of loss, or looking for support as you prepare for the death of someone close to you.

Belonging & Identity

What if you really don't know where you belong? Having lived in different countries I understand the emotional strain caused by "the otherness". Therapy can be used as a process of understanding who you are now.

Transgenerational Trauma

Many things get passed down through families. Transgenerational trauma extends from one generation to the next. The symptoms include hyperviligance, mistrust or fight/flight response.

Women's Development
Relationships, codependency & overcoming toxic patterns

You may not understand why you can’t leave a bad situation or have no sense of who you are.  My mission is to demystify the toxic influence of narcissistic abuse in your life.

PsychoCoaching is for women who want to take more control in their life, become more assertive and increase confidence. Female Empowerment programme aims to help women identify clear, practical and realistic steps to develop self-confidence in their professional and personal lives.
